![]() One thing to bear in mind though is Nate's plot armour, theres no reason how Nate shouldve been able to survive pretty much any of whats been thrown at him over the years let alone 4 games of it. And couldve actually revealed more about nadines character and her motivations with some level of interactivity. I think it wouldve been better to only have a really well choreographed cut scene where you can choose Nate's quips like when Nate first meets Nadine. The one thing though that really did NOT work was the actual gameplay where there was little to no interactivity, you just hammered buttons until the next cutscene. ![]() When it comes to his fighting ability hes very much a self taught brawler and even though he might have more experience overall than nadine considering him and his brother have had to fend for themselves from an early age, that intuition actually probably saved him and sam when fighting someone who is highly trained. Also bearing in mind Nate's expertise are more in his adventuring, god-like acrobatic ability, nack for putting 2 and 2 together and his general incredible intelligence. Bearing in mind despite Nate and Sam's experience over the years, Nadine is a super highly, professionally trained soldier, including training in 2v1 scenarios. I think it was a relatively even fight overall, neither ended up quite getting the upper hand over each other. Or do you think just Nathan and Sam are too old now? I don't want to make this anything political but do you guys think they weren't willing to make a woman of color unable to lose a fight therefore showing a sign of weakness? (I haven't had The Last Of Us Part II spoiled for me but apparently it's very political? Please don't spoil the story in comments). I'll give them a pass there.īut both Nathan and Sam can barely hold their ground against her? In the beginning of the game with Rafe, the three of them took on over twice as many prisoners seemingly easier than it is for Nathan and Sam to fight one woman. We've seen Nathan take on stronger, even scarier enemies. She should've been in the final battle or a bigger threat at the end of the game, but it also always bugged me how she wasn't able to lose a fight. One of my biggest issues with Uncharted 4 was Nadine in the case of her story arc and fighting. Search the sub for these questions and you'll find more than enough relevant threads. As for the shooting, it's also really basic, you point and shoot, but the enemies feel pretty bullet-spongey and it stops being fun after the second shootout. This subreddit is for discussing and sharing anything relating to Naughty Dog's Uncharted series of video games on Playstation consoles and/or the bonus adventures in other mediums. Climbing can be pretty fun and I get why it was so groundbreaking when the first game came out, but after a while you feel like the game is taking most of the steps and you're just pointing at where you want to go next. ![]() Uncharted makes you do one of two things: climbing or shooting. As for me dreading them, it's basically because of the gameplay. But something I love even more are its characters, the main trio are easily some of the most likeable videogame characters out there, and by this game they feel like old friends that you haven't seen in a long time. ![]() Let me explain, I love the adventure vibes these games have, with their lost cities and danger-filled jungles, they may not be anything new but they have a really fun vibe that I love. ![]() Uncharted is a weird saga for me, because I love experiencing its games but I kind of dread playing them. ![]()
